Sugar Leveler

Taken daily, this formula will help to reduce blood glucose levels and keep them lower. The formula also includes immune system and anti-inflammatory support. Ingredients include:

Mahogany Seed Extract

Sky fruit is the fruit of mahogany tree (Swietenia macrophylla) that grows in Asian countries. There are at least three active ingredients of sky fruit that are known to be beneficial for the health: flavonoids, saponin and alkaloids. The saponin in mahogany seeds has hypoglycemic effects.

Based on a study conducted by Smith et al from Ekiti State University, Nigeria, and published in the Journal of Drug Delivery & Therapeutics, the hypoglycemic effect of saponin is even stronger than that of generic antidiabetic drugs, especially metformin. It is thus plausible for us to conclude that using mahogany seeds for diabetes treatment is one of the best natural ways to maintain a normal level of sugar in the blood.

In addition to helping fight diabetes, the saponin content of sky fruit also offers anti-allergenic and antihistamine effects, can possibly overcome erectile dysfunction, especially as related to diabetes, and appears to be an effective cure for blood clotting and insomnia.

Amalaki Extract (Amla / Indian Gooseberry)

Amla is a highly revered rasayana (rejuvenative) for the entire system. Specifically, it promotes youthfulness, bolsters immunity, tones all the body’s tissues and promotes overall health and well-being. It is a brain tonic, it promotes memory, and its sattvic nature fosters subtle awareness, balanced emotions, and clarity of mind.

Gudmar

Gymnema sylvestre is a woody climbing shrub that’s native to the tropical forests of India, Africa and Australia. Its leaves have been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years. As a supplement, it has been used in combination with other diabetes medications to lower blood sugar.

Gudmar has been a traditional remedy for various ailments, including diabetes, malaria and snakebites. This herb is thought to inhibit sugar absorption and thus has become a popular study subject in Western medicine. Gymnema sylvestre is considered to have anti-diabetic properties.

Similar to its effects on your taste buds, Gymnema sylvestre can also block receptors in your intestines and thus sugar absorption, lowering your post-meal blood sugar levels.

Bitter Melon Powder

Bitter melon — also known as bitter gourd or Momordica charantia — is a tropical vine that belongs to the gourd family and is closely related to zucchini, squash, pumpkin, and cucumber. Thanks to its potent medicinal properties, bitter melon has long been used by indigenous populations around the world to help treat diabetes-related conditions. In recent years, several studies confirmed the fruit’s role in blood sugar control.

A 3-month study in 24 adults with diabetes showed that taking 2,000 mg of bitter melon daily decreased blood sugar and hemoglobin A1c, a test used to measure blood sugar control over three months.

Banaba Banaba, or Lagerstroemia speciosa, is a tree native to tropical Southeast Asia. It belongs to the genus Lagerstroemia, also known as Crape Myrtle. Its leaves have been used to treat diabetes in folk medicine for centuries.

The leaves contain over 40 beneficial compounds, of which corosolic acid and ellagic acid stand out. Though the leaves offer a variety of benefits, their ability to lower blood sugar levels appears the most potent and sought after. Researchers attribute this effect to several compounds, namely corosolic acid, ellagitannins, and gallotannins.

Corosolic acid lowers blood sugar levels by increasing insulin sensitivity, enhancing glucose uptake, and inhibiting alpha-glucosidase — an enzyme that helps digest carbs. That’s why it’s claimed to have an insulin-like effect.

Berberine belongs to a class of compounds called alkaloids. It is very effective at lowering blood sugar and HbA1c, which are elevated in people with diabetes. It works as well as some pharmaceutical drugs. Berberine is a bioactive compound that can be extracted from several different plants, including a group of shrubs called Berberis.

Fenugreek (methi) is an herb that is similar to clover. Taking fenugreek seed powder may lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. Doses of at least 5 grams daily seems to help.

Jamun, the scientific name or botanical name being SyzygiumCumini, is the succulent fruit of the tropical jamun tree native to the Indian sub-continent.

Jamuns have innumerable health benefits. They are an excellent source of vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamins B, potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, etc.

Jamun is used extensively in Ayurveda for treating diabetes. It has hypoglycemic properties and anti-diabetic components like oleanolic acid, jamboline, and jambosine. These components help maintain glucose levels in the blood by slowing down the process of releasing glucose into the blood.

Cinnamon is well known for its blood-sugar-lowering properties. Apart from the beneficial effects on insulin resistance, cinnamon can lower blood sugar by several other mechanisms. First, cinnamon has been shown to decrease the amount of glucose that enters your bloodstream after a meal.

Second, a compound in cinnamon can act on cells by mimicking insulin. This greatly improves glucose uptake by your cells, though it acts much slower than insulin itself.

Numerous human studies have confirmed the anti-diabetic effects of cinnamon, showing that it can lower fasting blood sugar levels by 10–29%.

Nigella sativa, commonly known as black seed, is a flowering plant native to South Asia.

Black seed has been traditionally used for various health conditions. Some traditional medicine practitioners use black seed for reducing diabetic symptoms, such as high blood sugar and insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes.

Several large analyses on thousands of people suggested that black seed may be a good complementary strategy for keeping glucose levels in check, especially in people with type 2 diabetes. It helped lower both blood glucose and blood lipids, possibly with long-term benefits (by also reducing HBA1C.

Chromium picolinate may lower fasting blood sugar, insulin levels, and blood fats in some people with type 2 diabetes. Higher chromium doses might work better than lower doses. Chromium supplements might work best in people with low chromium levels. Chromium picolinate might also benefit people with type 1 diabetes, people who have diabetes as a result of steroid treatment, and people with diabetes during pregnancy. Chromium might also help prevent diabetes, but research is limited.
